Hi, I’m Rachel! The heart behind Raw Essence Photography. I’m an Aussie living in the mountains of British Columbia, endlessly inspired by nature and the raw beauty of womanhood. I feel incredibly lucky that I get to call these mountains home and that this is my 'work'. I specialise in documenting the many incredible seasons of womanhood from maternity, birth, newborn, motherhood, family, empowerment/self-love and branding in the East Kootenays.

You will find me chasing you with my camera barefoot in the river, crouched in the dirt or emptying sand out of my shoes with a heart full from witnessing your magic.

I love seeing you exactly as you are.

It was our first time getting professional photos done and she instantly put us all at ease and captured the most beautiful moments. I love them!
